The second incarnation of The Sharonstones was formed in January 2016 when vocalist Sharon Hymers ( solo artist ) joined Craig Gill ( former Sour dogs drummer ) and Mike Larsen  ( bassist for the Jasper Hart band www.jasperhartband.co.uk ) along with Kev Ridpath and Rob Alexander . Sharon has a soulful and bluesy voice, which allows the band to follow a rock/blues genre with covers from the 70s up to the present.
The typical set includes songs from the likes of Imelda May, Ellie King, Fleetwood Mac and Blondie, as well as the Stones and Sam Brown demonstrating the bands versatility.
